I'm certain that this will only be read by my 17 year old cat...oh wait...she can't read. I'm starting this blog (and hopefully linking it to my previous blog when I lived in Eastern Europe (Belgrade)), so it's somewhat interesting. I have had a great time moderating the College Bowl Competition at the Institute of Food Technologists annual meeting over the past 9 (!!!! - How am I that old) years, and I have a very interesting life, as you may have gathered from my color commentary....
This blog is really meant for the single (Scientist - because you are my peers) woman that wants to explore the world, but maybe isn't' sure that they can. Let me tell you, I'm the cheapest cheapskate you will encounter, even with my (current and hopefully I don't get fired) corporate job. And I'm very concerned with personal safety.
This is a blog for women (scientist or not) that want to get off the beaten path, love to be out of their comfort zone, and need to know its ok for you to be here.
